Standard physiological buffer that is suitable for various calcium imaging experiments. It is also used as a preserving agent.


Contains 120 mM sodium chloride, 5 mM potassium chloride, 2 mM calcium chloride, 1 mM magnesium chloride, 25 mM sodium bicarbonate, 5.5 mM HEPES, and 1 mM D-glucose pH 7.2. Prepared in 18.2 megohms water and filtered through 0.22 micron filter.
