Applications

4-Nitrophenyl-α-D-glucopyranoside acts as a chromogenic substrate for alfa-D-glucosidase inhibitor. It is also used in the detection of glucansucrases and for yeast alfa-D-glucosidase. Further, it is a substrate for lysosomal alfa-glucosidase and maltase-glucoamylase.

Store in a cool place. Keep the container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Light sensitive. Incompatible with strong oxidizing agents.
