Ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid tripotassium salt dihydrate is involved to eliminate inhibition of enzyme catalyzed reactions due to traces of heavy metals. It is also used to study chelators, biochemicals and reagents. Further, it is utilized to check the safety of ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid and hydroxyethyenediaminetriacetic acid ingredients in cosmetic formulations.
