Applications

(S)-(+)-2-Phenylglycinol is used in the synthesis of chiral, unsymmetrical bisoxazolines. It is used as a reagent for the resolution of acids via the easily hydrolyzed amides.

Notes

Store in cool place. Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. It is sensitive to air. Incompatible with oxidizing agents. Store at -20°C.
