Applications

Benzyl (R)-(-)-glycidyl ether is used in the preparation of the lactone fragment of compactin and mevinolin. Chiron in the preparation of syn-1,3-polyols, dideoxynucleosides, and a spiroacetal cyanohydrin.

Notes

Store in cool place. Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Store away from oxidizing agents.
