Applications

4-Dimethylaminobenzoyl chloride is used to make other chemicals. It is an important raw material and intermediate used in organic synthesis, pharmaceuticals and agrochemicals.

Notes

It is sensitive to moisture. Handle and store under an inert atmosphere. Store in cool place. Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Containers which are opened must be carefully resealed and kept upright to prevent leakage. Air and moisture sensitive.
