Applications

Arbutin, a glycosylated hydroquinone, is used in studies on melanin biosynthesis and as an inhibitor to identify, differentiate and characterize tyrosinase(s). Also used in sed as a skin-lightening agent in cosmetic products.

Hygroscopic, store away from water/moisture. Store in cool. Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Store away from oxidizing agent.
