Applications

Magnesium tert-butoxide is used as a pharmaceutical intermediate. It is also used in deprotonation reactions for organic syntheses.

Notes

Store in cool place. Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Incompatible with bases and oxidizing agents. Store under dry inert gas. It is sensitive to air and moisture.
