Applications

Dimethyl vinylphosphonate are versatile reagents undergoing Michael addition giving alkyl phosphonates. It is also used for synthesis of aziridine-2-phosphonates, useful for preparing &#945;-amino phosphonates.

Notes

Light, air and moisture sensitive. Incompatible with oxidizing agents, heat, bases, ultraviolet radiation and free radical initiators.
