3-(p-Tolyl)propionic acid was used during the coupling of 1-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)-3-ethylcarbodiimide with 4,5-diphenyl-2-(2-p-tolyl-ethyl)-4,5-dihydro-1H-imidazole resin.
