Applications

It induces cell differentiation and apoptosis of some cancer cell types and inhibiting carcinogenesis. It plays an essential role in metabolic functioning of the retina, the growth of and differentiation of epithelial tissue, the growth of bone, reproduction, and the immune response. It acts as a ligand for both the retinoic acid receptor (RAR) and the retinoid X receptor (RXR) that act as transcription factors to regulate the growth and differentiation of normal and malignant cells.

Notes

Store in cool place. Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well-ventilated place. Recommended storage temperature: -20°C Air and moisture sensitive. Store under nitrogen. Keep away from strong oxidizing agents.
