Applications

4-(Aminomethyl)piperidine is used as a reagent for rapid cleavage of the Fmoc group in peptide synthesis, particularly recommended in conjunction with Fmoc-protected acid chlorides as the active species. It Is also used as a reactant for evaulated as a small molecule inhibitor of CD4-gp120 binding and as a reagent involved in solvothermal preparation of germanium oxide hydroxide 3D net zeotype, involved in zeolite synthesis and as a coupling agent for adhesive systems.

Notes

Keep container tightly sealed. Store in cool, dry conditions in well sealed containers. Incompatible with oxidizing agents. It is sensitive to air.
