Applications

Polymeric adsorbent for hydrophobic compounds: antibiotics, vitamins, amino acids, enzymes; for purification: gallium, myxovirescins, phosphoric acid, riboflavin salts. Amberlite® XAD1180N can be used as a polymeric adsorbent. The regeneration of this adsorbent has been effective in alkaline medium and tests have shown the adsorbent efficiently removes chromium from tannery waste water.
